Easter Eggstra

Pancakes, Lent AND lighter evenings...it must be nearly Easter! And it’s a great time to pick up a van and explore the quiet country lanes and vast, open beaches of the south west. It’s that magical time of year when the stone of winter rolls away and the summer season slowly comes to life. Everything’s open but nowhere’s crowded – perfect conditions for a relaxed break close to home.

Here’s hoping for a repeat of Easter 1969, when the vans were just a glint in their Californian manufacturer’s eye, and the sunniest UK Easter on record. Or perhaps a return to 1984, when we saw temperatures of over 20 degrees...

...and even if the weather isn’t as kind as we’d hope, you can always snuggle up in your duvet, enjoy the views of green fields or slate seas and tuck into another (fridge-chilled) cream egg!

Check our website for value Easter breaks.

February Festival Focus

2010 is being hailed as THE festival year. Glastonbury 40 is already sold out, but there’s so much choice out there, Reading, T in the park, Bestival, even Glastonbudget! Last year San Fran and Monty visited Camp Bestival, Green Man and Larmer Tree getting rave reviews as űber cool, comfy and practical festival goers.

Sounds good to you?

Enjoy!
