A - You have the freedom to travel wherever you like within the UK mainland. We ask that you remain on surfaced-roads only, with the exception of dedicated tracks on campsites.

Q - What are the vans like to drive?
A - Great fun!  Remember that you are driving a classic so limit your speed to 60 mph and allow a little extra distance for braking. Each van is left-hand drive so, despite the excellent visibility afforded by the height of the driver’s seat, care is required when parking, overtaking and reversing.

A - Yes a 2-burner cooker powered by the onboard gas supply.

Q - How far will the van go on a tank of fuel?
A - The tank holds about 12 gallons (50ltr) and driven normally you can expect around 25mpg, so we suggest you refill every 200 miles or so. (The fuel gauges are best described as “quirky”!)

Q - How do I connect to the mains power supply at my camp-site?
A - We supply you with a 20m shower proof mobile mains hook-up lead.

Q - Is there a CD/radio in the van?

Early Autumn 2011
Where did the summer go?
One minute we were packing for Glasto and the next minute we were packing our school bags.
Luckily, our lovely customers managed to cram in all sorts of trips over the break. Rob ventured into mid-Wales for an action-packed 3 days of cycling, canoeing and walking and enjoyed getting away “from the hurly-burly of life.” Despite her dad wearing a “really silly t-shirt”, Emily’s friend (and Emily herself) had an “awesome” time at the Sunrise Festival.
Titou (4) brought his glamorous parents back for a repeat camper experience. “A Wales on a fait du camping et on a fait du bateau” and even that wasn’t enough, “Can’t wait to do it again.” The Fishers went EVERYWHERE! “We loved our holiday and Monty made it.” And Mrs F kept smiling even when Mr F threw all their DVDs away – well she had packed them in a bin bag!
Campervan novices Tracy and Steve enjoyed a September birthday weekend away, “First time in a campervan. Brilliant!”
San Fran came to the rescue to get the Bakers to Bestival and this weekend Monty will be helping Faith celebrate a milestone birthday. She feels she’s earned the right to be “way above ground level.” Happy Birthday Faith!
We love it when people have a good time so thanks to all of our customers for doing just that!
